Holly has very sharp spines. It is green with red berrys. People use it for decorations at christmas time.

A home to wildife.

Trees are also a home to birds and wildlife. For example, birds build there nests in trees and keep animals out of the sun.

Different trees

There are lots of different types of trees. Evergreen, stay green all year round but deciduous, don't.

Christmas trees.

You put Christmas trees up at Christmas time. I have a fake one which is good for the environment because you don't have to cut down a tree each year! You put decorations up on a Christmas tree.

Pollen.

Pollen is yellow stuff that is in the middle of flowers. Bees collect it to make honey.
